GQ Shoe Event At Selfridges

This week I was invited along to a GQ Reader Event at Selfridges for an evening fuelled by mens footwear.
Back in November Selfridges opened the largest mens footwear concept in the world. With over 250 brands you are seriously spoilt for choice!
So where better to hold a Shoe Event for GQ readers than in a 15,000 square foot department.

Greeted by friendly Selfridges hosts you were immediately sucked into a carnival atmosphere.
DJ’s were spinning the tunes complimentary drinks from Heineken and Vitamin Water to keep us refreshed and performances from Cirque Du Noir to keep a crowd of well dressed Gents and Ladies entertained.

One area I was drawn straight to was the Oliver Sweeney Tattoo Pop-Up. An area where you can purchase a stunning pair of shoes then give them a added touch of a tattoo.
Great idea and it certainly seemed popular with the gents.
Below are some photos of the artists in action and the beautifully crafted footwear.

All in all a great evening thanks to GQ and Selfridges
